Yes, it is the first day of spring, 2006. You would never know it. I crossed 21st Avenue coming to the Vanderbilt Library after having my usual "Pick 2" at Panera Bread. It was cold and trying to snow. I am wearing my Army field jacket and stick out like a sore thumb among these college kids. I never thought I would think of them as kids but since my own kid is now 22, that is how I think of them. I am sure they see me and think I am an old man. It does not matter. I am getting the job done and I am very effective at the things I am doing. I take no shit and put none out. Thinking of Panera, that place would be more bearable if they quit playing that awful jazz . They should play The Beatles or the best of Jim Colyer, something less strident to the ear. Here I am. Michael has an appointment with his dermatologist on Wednesday. I will go with him. He will give me the Washington, D.C. pictures, and I will put them on the website. I left Kenny Royster a message telling him to get with Megan on what day we will do her vocal. God Given Talent is a good song. The recording is good. The NSAI people liked it. It will be my only major recording in 2006.
